Prenatal Care

Together, we’ll build a care plan that reflects your values and ensures you feel seen and supported every step of the way.

Your Prenatal visits are more than quick check ins. They are intentional, unhurried times designed to prepare your for your birth and motherhood.

Each appointment is 45-60 minutes, giving space not just for clinical care like vitals, labs, and listening to your baby. They are also meant for meaningful conversation about your health, goals, and your questions through out this journey.

You will receive a client workbook, nutrition guidance, and movement support so you feel strong, nourished, and confident as you approach your birth.

Prenatal care with a homebirth midwife is also available for families planning a hospital birth with a physician, and can be discussed during a complimentary consultation.

Home Birth

My role as your midwife is to provide skilled, evidence based care while protecting your space, your choices and you body’s wisdom.

I believe birth is a natural process, not a medical event. For low-risk families birthing at home, you are free to move, rest, and labor in ways that feel instinctive, without restrictions or timelines of a hospital setting.

During your home birth, I bring not only clinical expertise and safety equipment but also a calm, reassuring presence that allows you to stay connected to your own strength.

With homebirth midwifery support, you can give birth in your own home environment, surrounded by the people you choose, in the way that feels right for you.

Postpartum Care

As your midwife, I provide postpartum care that supports your recovery, your feeding journey, and the tender shift into life with your baby.

I provide ongoing check ins up until 6 weeks postpartum, breastfeeding guidance, newborn care, and emotional support to help you thrive in the fourth trimester.

Postpartum is a sacred window, not an afterthought. My care includes newborn assessments, 3 in-home visits for you and baby from days one to seven, then additional two in my office to help with feeding guidance, emotional support with a family-centered approach.

As a homebirth midwife I focus on supporting your families transition, supporting recovery, and helping you feel confident and cared for during the early weeks after welcoming your baby at home.

"Her approach to care is both holistic and empowering. She took the time to understand my unique needs and preferences, creating a personalized birth plan that aligned perfectly with my wishes. During labor, her calm demeanor and reassuring words eased any anxieties I had, and she guided me through each stage with confidence and skill. Her dedication to ensuring a safe and positive birthing experience was evident."

"Unfortunately, we ended up having to transfer to a higher level of care, requiring a hospital birth a week before our due date. Emily met us at the hospital to get us settled and went over our birthing plans, and was there to check on us the moment we got home! She’s helped with finding resources for so many things like pediatricians that would fit our needs and many things pertaining to postpartum."

"I first Emily in 2018. She sparked my interest instantly. I loved her knowledge and confidence. She has a very comforting soul. A part of me will always be bummed I didn’t use her as my doula with my first birth like I planned. She was still supportive and was happy to answer any questions I had. When I got pregnant with my second, I reached out to her right away! And she happened to be a midwife, now! I knew I needed her to have the birth experience I wanted. My first birth honestly scarred me. It was so lonely and so cold. There was nothing but love and warmth with my second. So much support from day one. In the end, my partner said “Wow that was the coolest experience I’ve ever had. I’m so happy we did it this way!”
